Ordering
- From which farms may I order dairy and other products?
Currently, there are four regional farms you may order from. The quality is excellent, the animals are totally grass fed and healthy. They use organic, pasture-based, low-input, sustainable methods. We give out the names and addresses, ordering info and price lists to paid club members.
- What are the prices for products from the participating farms?
Club members usually pay on-farm prices for the products. Generally speaking, the products are available at prices equal or lower than organic products in retail stores, often significantly lower. Exact prices vary from farmer to farmer and are available on the members pages. The TFC charges a percentage (@15% currently) added to the price to hire our private delivery persons to bring our orders. Even with the added delivery charge the prices are usually still lower than organic products in stores.
- Must I order a minimum amount?
Not at all! Unlike a CSA, you have no large upfront cost and no minimum order. You do not have to order at all (but we're sure you will want to). We are New Yorkers so we know your schedule can be hectic!
- Where do I go to pick up products through the club?
As of Feb 2009, these are the available sites:
· Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on Saturday mornings (once per month)
· Park Slope on Saturday mornings (once per month)
· Prospect Heights on Saturday mornings (once per month)
· Queens (87th Ave) on Saturday mornings (once per month)
· Midtown/Flatiron on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings (twice per month)
· Midtown East 50's on Tuesday or Wednesday evening (once per month)
· Midtown West 40's on Tuesday evening (once per month)
· Washington Heights on Tuesday evening (once per month)
· Larchmont, Westchester on Saturday afternoon (twice per month)
· Other neighborhoods in the metro NY area are added as demand and volunteer help grows.

- I forgot my password. How can I retrieve it?
Click here to retrieve your password. If you have also changed email address and lost your password, you should email and he can set up a new password for you. It is best NOT to register twice in our system.
- My email has changed. How can I change my email, phone, preferences, etc. in my profile?
Click on Member Site to log in. After logging in, click "Edit Personal Profile". It is important to do this so you can keep getting email notices from us. We cannot change your settings, only you can.
- How do I get specific information concerning the dairy club (ordering instructions, locations, etc.)?
You can only get this if you are a paid club member. Log in to the Member Area and you will see a link for this if you are a club member.
- I have sent in my membership dues to Brigitta but I don't see the link for the delivery club info.
It can take two weeks for our treasurer to credit your payment and activate your membership. You should receive a thank-you email when that happens. If this did not happen within a couple of weeks of mailing your payment, please email the treasurer, Brigitta: Please include your first and last name.
